Thus provided the funds for travel and creating memories that have reminisced in his mind over a life time.

Stationed in Budingen, Germany, the quaint town became enchanting to him. Sheldon became immersed in drawing and painting the winding narrow streets, uniquely structured old stucco homes and business fitting side by side with dark wooden designs showing ownership of the town and it people who had warm hearts and lives.

Stateside Sheldon studied and received an A.A in Commercial Art, from Spokane Falls Community College in Spokane, Washington State. He has been enjoyed by many in his early paintings by use of Egg Tempera and airbrush.

A Trompe l'oeil style, "trick of the eye," in still-life for the thinker, be it capturing bent refractive light with entailment of very fine brush strokes which are carefully seen in a beautifully and wonderfully made idiosyncratic style in all forms of Sheldon's paintings. You may look for a long time-perhaps months, when all of a sudden you look again and see something that wasn't there to you before.

Sheldon’s craftsmanship is precise, purposefully thought out with meticulous placing of each object as he uses uncannily accuracy. Studying a painting is to look into the soul and heart which resonates beauty in its truest form what has often taken a piece at a time to included and often a piece of humor can be found subtlety, also the pervasive feeling that the possessor of these objects is somewhere around.

Sheldon says, "I try to paint a picture of a person without him or her in it. His glance sweeps the worn objects in large paintings on the wall behind him. "Likening these owners they just as they had put all that stuff up on a shelf and will be back for it tomorrow." These styles of his paintings take a detailed insightful eye to tell the awe-inspiring surprise in depicting a true original.

One is captured in immense thought and wonder as the more you look the more you see in Still Life’s which Sheldon enjoys while creating mirror refracted and forms shadows’. Looking closely in the reflections through glass how detailed and precise warped and bent light caught not only in glass but mirrors also. You will find Sheldon’s humor in the teasers as your eyes are taken from anywhere in the painting moving from object to objects appearing as though they could be picked right out of the painting or the hand could become an extension of what has already been painted.

Sheldon’s deepest thoughts emerge through still-life’s capturing a part of our history in America, and other countries.

Sheldon is known for his impeccably rendered still-life, beautifully captured images of wildlife, nature and landscapes. Many years have been spent photo-graphing and following birds or animals to just the spot that is a YES. Sheldon’s talent is outstanding and prevalent in many social realms. He is a God fearing man that allows God to lead and inspire him. As you look at each piece of his art describe with emotions, you feel the piece and what it is saying to you at the moment and like reading a book you are able to come back and be refreshed and often fine something new.
